Goals

I am currently seeking enrollment in graduate programs in behavioral and evolutionary ecology. I hope to persue research in analysing and modeling individual behavior within and among populations, sepcifically how intraspecific variation within a population effects it's population dynamics and how it plays into evolutionary forces.

Hobbies

Many of my hobbies involve computers. I dabble in programming and enjoy experimenting with hardware and software by installing and swapping components and operating systems. I have always enjoyed art, design, sketching and drawing. I’ve extended that interest into graphic arts and design, and have kept a web page for several years (http://upl.cs.wisc.edu/~blue). I am also a club DJ, playing contemporary underground dance music at the university a nd in the local club scene.

While I study and love biology and ecology, I also work extensively with computers and enjoy integrating them into whatever I do. I also love the art of communication and speech as indicated by my experience in both policy and val ue debate throughout high school and college and my role as debate team director in college. This interest is further reflected by my writing skills. To round things out, I am also heavily involved in the music industry both as a techno-goth-industrial club and radio DJ and as a coordinator of two committees the purpose of which are to organize music performances and book artists at the university.
