I have dabbled a bit in java programs and applets. Here are some of the ones that I have written:

Java counter: A counter that requests updates from a server and changes while watching the page.
Distributed java computing: Distribute naturaly paralizable tasks to java applets reporting back to a server.
Java Majhongg: An implementation of xmahjongg in java with autoplay and hint.
