Jukebox Project

Warning: this work for this was done in June, 1997. So it's dated, now.

The device:

[CDP-CX200 image] Sony CDP-CX200

200 disk storage

S-Link, Control-A1 interface

Cheap ($289 from Circuit City a week ago)

The goal:

Build an interface to the Jukebox to allow a PC to control its various functions and to get status information about each of the CDs that are in the player.

The information:

External Sites
Undeadscientist A PC implementation and a better command reference

Nirvis A commercial product that controls CD players and more. (not an endorsement, I don't have one.)

Internal Sites
Command Format A guide to the command format

No HC11 Code This doesn't have my HC11 Code yet, but if there's interest, I'll post it.
